When I was growing up I was always the chunky kid that everyone would made fun of. Even my family would joke about it. Although it hurt, it motivated me to make a change in my life and honestly made me just want to be better than everyone. I was lucky enough to become close with one of my best friends, Cary. He taught me everything about the gym and changed my mindset to always go as hard as possible in anything you do. After he passed away, it put into perspective how we don’t know how long we have in this life and we can’t keep delaying our dreams. This fueled me to begin the brand and build a community. I want concrete strong to push others to have that mindset of always pushing limits and achieving what seems impossible. Our motto “Build Your Foundation” means that you need to keep showing up day in and day out no matter what. It’s something that keeps me going everyday. I never even think about if I’m having a tough day or not, I just go to the gym and put in the work. Stop feeling sorry for yourself for the shit things that may happen in your life and take care of the things that are up to you.
